Restaurant Review- The Artisan Lagos.

Hey everyone! Today I’m going to be sharing my experience at The Artisan Lagos with you all. This review has been a long time coming and it’s quite puzzling how I’ve never written a proper review on this place when it’s actually one of my top 10 places in Lagos. I’ve been here a couple of times (because their sharwarma is addictive) and I enjoyed every minute spent. Read all about it below!

Location.

It is located on 14, Anifowoshe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. It’s very easy to locate and is close to some other places such as Coffee Plus Lagos.

Ambience.

It’s one of the few places with a homely feel. There are so many sections ranging from a mini bar outside to the garden at the backyard to the cafe and then the lounge upstairs. Phew. Nice work Artisan. I’ve got some pictures below from the times I visited.

Love how this part of the backyard looks!

Wall art at cafe eleven.

Food/Drinks.

I go there for their sharwarma so I’m sorry I have nothing so much to say about their food. I have a question though, can I have some more please?

I always have the chicken and beef flavor and it’s absolutely amazing. I feel it’s a bit too dry though, could do with some more cream but it’s still nice regardless. This one time I had a taste of their potato salad and it was really nice too. Picture below.

Customer Service.

All the workers are really friendly. Food served promptly. Everything good.

Prices.

Sharwarma is N2000.

Potato salad, I don’t really remember but I think it is in the same price range (N2000-N2500).

A section of their menu, they have food for way less however!

Discounts/Deals.

None that I’ve observed.

So that’s all about this pretty place! I think the garden at the backyard is my favorite feature haha. Meanwhile I’ve got some pictures from my collabo shoot with this restaurant and Kancky Nigeria (@theartisanlagos and @kancky_ng on Instagram). Sunglasses are from my store of course (@eyecessoriesng on Instagram).

Pretty stripes 🙂

  1. Thank you so much for this review.

We run the Shawarma place at the Artisan (Xqwizit Shawarma).

Please let’s know when next you visit so you can get your favorite Shawarma on us.

Your observation on the texture is noted and we will sure improve on that.

    Thanks again.
